JIVAs Solution

JIVA created an application that creates an inter-network routing service and exchange. We created the application which can integrate People, Organizations, Computers, Mobile devices and the internet including Web-2.0 applications (Facebook, Twitter, email). We are currently working towards providing an enhanced and simplified user experience by providing intelligent information routing & conversion, behavior, location and mobility triggers, and network and service provider independence.
The application enables the end users can send any messages using SMS, MMS or E-mails. We have developed a Rule Engine to process authenticated messages to be sent to for further process by a message queue. An Ad manager has been developed to insert Ads for every outgoing message. Third party API’s( Twitter API, Facebook API, Flickr API SMS/MMS API) have been integrated to the application to publish the message to third party social media networks. If the user of a group has updated an event in the application then the same is published in all the third party social media networks and a message sent out as an E-mail/SMS and/or MMS

Business Impact

An Ad Juggler needs to be integrated to the application to have dynamic ads being published each time a message is published in the third party social media networks or messages being sent out as an E-mail/SMS and/or MMS. Communication among the members in the network is done using roles and permissions and priority.

The application is now successfully able to manage ad hoc groups of people (volunteers, incident management) with full privacy and authentication. JIVA created the application to see that each person to have their own personal and private communication preference.

Hospital Internal Communication – Intranet Solution

Business Challenge

Our client was using an outdated HTML based intranet service to communicate and find information including phone directories, clinical forms and handbooks on policies and procedures. They wanted to have a new intranet solution as the older intranet was difficult and time-consuming to use. In old intranet application, the users required to scroll through all posted messages to find the information they were looking for. In addition, the outdated information had to be deleted manually.

We developed a website that is SEO optimized to drive more traffic to the site. The site is designed to capture the customer information and integrate the same to a CRM system. We designed the lead forms and integrated that with SUGAR CRM. Every customer enquiry, filled as a lead form is sent to SUGAR CRM. This information of the customer is later used by the Business Development team of the client. Transportation Service Centre

Business Challenge

Great West Logistics (GWL) uses the services of FedEx for all its logistics. GWL gets discounts from FedEx. GWL shares these discounts with their customers to capture the market space. Based on the unique carrier a/c number, FedEx generates reports and sends them to GWL. The discounts that GWL gets from FedEx are very different from the discounts GWL offers to their customers. GWL has problem in generating an invoice and send it to their respective customers.

JIVAs Solution

JIVA created an ASP.Net web application, which would act as an interface to collect the reports from FedEx and generate the customer invoices. FedEx send the reports in a CSV format. The web application decodes the data from the file and applies the calculation on the data, then store into the database. This date is retrieved when we need to generate the invoice for any customer based on their carrier a/c number.

Business Impact

GWL was earlier generating invoices using a FoxPro application. Their operations expanded globally and the new web application we developed gave them an edge over their competitors. Invoices generated in a PDF format helped GWL’s customers to clearly understand the discounts and charges on all the logistic operations. The value proposition that we could provide GWL in terms of quality and industry trends was over 80%.

Details like the estimate information, Market Value change, Sales history, Tax information, Historical Value trends etc. The users can upload all the information, documents and disclosures in the site. Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is a centralized repository used by all the real estate agents. We integrated the MLS data in our website using the MLS API.

MLS API helps the client to upload new data and get the existing data from the MLS database. We integrated Zillow maps to the site which provides the users with all the history required about the property. The user can search for the best buy locally using the website. We have integrated a lot of tools to the application. To purchase the magazines online we created a new plug-in and integrated Paypal API with this plug-in. SEO optimization is achieved by allowing the Admin to add Meta tags, Meta keywords to each and every post from admin panel.

We have developed a suite of applications for normal twitter users all the way to the power user/professional blogger. We are trying to keep the users on MyTweetSuite and have no reason to leave to use twitter or any external application.
